Ice Skating & Skate Shop

Ice skating will be available at the outdoor ice arena in Homesteader Park as soon as cold temperatures permit, usually mid December. The rink is located directly across from the recreation offices in the northwest corner of the park. The arena is equipped with night lighting, and a multipurpose building containing restrooms, skate equipment and concessions. Announcements will be made as soon as the ice is ready. NO HOCKEY ALLOWED during public skate! Be advised, the ice rink/warming house may close on short notice, due to weather conditions.

Once opened, the rink will be open every day from 11 am - 10 pm.  There is no charge to use the rink for those with their own skates.

Skate Shop  The skate shop located in the warming house, adjacent to the rink, has a wide array of rental skates for children and adults.  Rental skates are for use at this rink only.                                                                     

Skate Shop Hours:  Monday - Saturday, 1 -5 pm

Skate Rental Fee:  $2.50 / pair

Skate Rental Pass (12 punches):  $20.00
